Alright, Alright, we won’t get into the specifics here (however, you can find them here), but REALLY, the history of Garlic is anything but bland.
Cousin of the onion and chive; Garlic dates back over 6,000 years (its even mentioned in the Bible) and has since made a name for itself all around the world, for both culinary and medical purposes. There is a long list of scenarios where Garlic is believed to be beneficial. Not only is Garlic a treasured ingredient; it also fights the common cold, can prevent cancer, works as an antiseptic and is a powerful ward against vampires and werewolves.
The true tale of how Garlic came to be such a culinary treasure is unknown; However, we imagine it happened something like this…
One day, long ago a young Chef named Geno was walking along when he came across a wild plant, at first glance he thought it was a small onion, but with closer examination he saw it was something different. Curiously he peeled a section from the unique bulb, removed the skin and took a bite. Geno was quickly taken aback by the spicy yet, tantalizing flavor and the young chef was inspired! He eagerly ran home where he then smashed the bulb and cooked the small pieces in oil. From its aroma alone, Geno knew he discovered something that would change gastronomy forever... And the rest is history.
Garlic Fest is our way of celebrating the rich history of Garlic and, of course, honoring its deliciousness! And we are teaming up with Youngs Garden and Greenhouse of Stillwater to ensure we bring the freshest Garlic into our dishes.

Starters:
Garlic, Becks, and Tilsit Soup
A hearty beer cheese soup made with fried Georgian Crystal garlic, roasted mire poix, Becks, and Tilsit cheese.
Garlic Fried Walleye Fingers
Hand cut walleye battered and fried in garlic infused canola oil. Served with garlic aioli.
Crostini with Garlic-Apple Chutney
Sliced baguette brushed with garlic oil and topped with a chilled chutney made with Fuji apples, German Porcelain, and toasted pancetta.
Garlic-Sesame Crusted Chicken Balls
Tender, fiery meatballs made with chopped shallot, Siberian garlic, dried cherries, scallions, and xiaoxing wine. Tossed in our famous plum 
sauce.
Honey-Garlic Chicken Quesadilla
Crispy tortillas stuffed with grilled onion, sliced garlic, Colby jack cheese, and tender chicken marinated with wildflower honey, toasted garlic,
chile flakes, and toasted cumin.
Shrimp Scampi
Jumbo river caught prawns are cleaned and butterflied, then sauteed in olive oil with minced Musik, chili flakes, sweet cream butter, Pinot Grigio, and breadcrumbs.
Lobster and Garlic Mushroom Caps
Tender mushroom caps stuffed with minced shallot, fresh thyme, sliced lobster, and white cheddar.
Deep Fried Garlic Cheese Curds
Eichtens garlic cheddar curds lightly battered and fried until golden and gooey!!!
Fire Roasted Sweet Corn
Its summer and Josh’s famous fire roasted sweet corn is back. Brined in saltwater with our secret blend of spices. Flame roasted and served with roasted garlic-honey butter.
Whole Roasted Garlic with toasted baguette
An entire head of garlic is cleaned, the top is sliced off, and brushed with olive oil, then slow roasted until well caramelized. Served with toasted baguette and roasted red pepper cream cheese.

Spinach Salad with Crispy Smoked Pork and Apple
Tender spinach leaves, sliced apples, crumbled gorgonzola, pickled onion, and toasted pork belly tossed in a sweet onion and garlic vinaigrette.
Garlic Salt Crusted Beef Tenderloin
Beef tenderloin rubbed with fresh herbs and cracked black pepper is encrusted in rock salt, minced garlic, and fresh rosemary then slow roasted. Served with seasonal vegetable and potato.
Spaghetti Aglio e Olio
Spaghetti tossed with a variety of pressed fresh garlic sauteed in olive oil with chili flakes, fresh parsley, Pinot Grigio, and butter.
Garlic Rubbed Roasted Chicken
½ chicken rubbed with garlic, fresh rosemary, and cracked black pepper is roasted until crispy and tender. Served with seasonal vegetable and potato.
Burgundy Braised Beef with Woodland Mushrooms
Beef Tenderloin tips, pearl onion, seasonal fresh wild mushrooms, and whole roasted garlic cloves are sauteed in butter then deglazed with cognac, cream, and veal stock.
Salmon Burger with Pineapple-Garlic Salsa
Grilled to perfection, served on a grilled kaiser roll, and topped with a chunky salsa made with fresh pineapple, poached apple, fried garlic, and cilantro.
Smoked Garlic Sausages with Braised Cabbage
Grilled garlic-pork sausages served with boiled potatoes, carrots, and braised cabbage.
Grilled Swordfish Salmoriglio
Swordfish broiled to perfection and topped with olive tapenade and a warm lemon-garlic reduction. Served with caramelized onion mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus.
Linguini with Garlic-Fennel brown Butter Shrimp
Tender Indonesian brown shrimp sauteed in olive oil with toasted fennel seed, minced garlic, butter, and a sage leaf. Deglazed with chardonnay and tossed with linguini.
Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops
Sea scallops lightly seasoned with cumin, coriander, and cardamom are wrapped with applewood smoked bacon, seared in garlic oil and butter, then roasted until perfect. Served with seasonal vegetable and potato.
Tuna Melt
Fresh yellowfin tuna flame broiled to medium, then sliced and served on grilled foccacia with garlic aioli, field greens, sliced tomato, and smoked cheddar.
